Welcome to Private Stock Shiloh Shepherds.
We live in a small town right outside the great Poconos of PA. Karen is a RN at a local hospital in the intensive care unit. Mark is self-employed as a marble & tile contractor. Tyler is our son, who is still at home with us.
Together, we have the greatest opportunity to share our lives with Storm, our GSD, Malibu, our Shiloh Shepherd and her daughter, Mercy from Malibu’s first litter with General. They are an integral part of who we are. They have a fenced yard to roam & play & a pool to swim in with us. They sleep in our bed… or should I say they allow us to sleep in our bed. (We love it) Playing ball is an obsession. Toys are scattered in the house & the yard.
We fell in love with the Shiloh Shepherd breed after a search for a companion for Storm. We had an aging Siberian husky with cancer & knew it wouldn’t be long until Storm was alone. We searched for another GSD, but just couldn’t find one that said “YES THIS IS THE ONE”. After spending what seemed a lifetime, we found Babbling Brook Shiloh Shepherds in Easton. Valerie’s website had such beauties. Mark had talked to Valerie for hours on the phone answering so many of his questions; she gave him other Shiloh websites to look at. She invited us down to meet her pack. As we approached her home two Shilohs were leaving, Caesar & Shylo. Mark’s face dropped, he was in awe. Then once inside we saw 17 puppies plus Valerie’s pack running around. It was then we fell in love, YES THIS IS THE ONE.
Malibu came home with us a few weeks later & life has never been the same, for the better of course. Malibu has exceeded our expectations in so many ways. She is OUR PRINCESS. She is a TSSR and NAKC champion. Her health testing is completed and has passed her CGC & TT. She is part of our breeding program.
Malibu’s first litter with Bearpaw-Ridgewood General Lee 2 produced a litter of 7, 4 boys and 3 girls. They produced pups of awesome temperaments and a variety of colors. Mercy is out of that litter. She is a grey sable with a temperament to die for. She loves her huggies and is a joy to watch playing with her mom and Storm. She has done well in the show ring and has accomplished her breed championship, CGC, TT and her HIC. Mercy’s health testing is complete and we are thrilled to have her part of our breeding program.
